Step 1: you make sure whether your satellite cable connect with your homecast receiver, put the plug in the interface 'Dish IN'.$ e9 W9 y* i7 F( U4 h1 ^

Step 2: Press the MENU button to show the main menu, then press 'ok' button and enter sub menu, you select 'installation' -> press '>' right button, select 'Dish setup' button -> press'ok' button, enter the password pop-up window, the default password is '1234', you input it then it will skip into Dish setup window.

Step3: Firstly you check the top of 'dish setup' window, it will show signal strength and signal quality, as usual you can find signal precent in the left, it is more than 45%, but it will show 0% in the right, if it is 0% or less than 40% in the right, you can't watch tv programs, so you need to find back your lost tv channels from here by checking satellite signal and setup satellite parameters.: z2 b" c) ]/ E: b- }% u

Step 4: Setup 'LNB type' into '11300' (default is 9750/10750), you needn't modify other parameters in 'dish setup' window, then check whether signal come back, (it won't show 0% in the right), if it shows 0% yet, you will do the next step.& b' B) a9 A, G' n+ I

Step 5: press 'exit' button and enter 'factory reset', then 'ok' button, select 'yes', all will come to the factory setup, then you do it according to the second step again.+ Z$ j4 H* f0 S# R: ~( @

Step 6: enter 'dish setup' window, then setup 'LNB type' into 11300, then skip into Goto 'Auto search', press it, you will get back your lost tv channels.

I do it according to these steps, Setup 'LNB type' into '11300' (default is 9750/10750), but can't find signal yet, my bolt box signal is very good. why?

you check your LNB, then setup LNB type according to L.O.FREQ parameter.

if you meet 'lost satellite signal', maybe it is broken between your dish and receiver, or you make a mistake about your dream system setup, you can refer to it on top of post, you will get back your tv channels again. or your dish reception problem, need to test dream signal again, you can call a professional engineer and check it at this time.

most of cystal receiver customers meet the same problem, lost their all dream tv channels now, it isn't very stable for this kind receiver at present, but you can choose homecast receiver for dream satellite tv receptions, you won't meet any problem later, some cystal users call us, because they can't find their dealers, now they have choose our homecast receivers, all dream tv channels run normally again.

Hi I'm in Shunde, close to Guangzhou. Pre-august I had a Dream satellite working perfectly. However the new system meant it no longer worked., h2 a* |: \7 X% }1 Z
So I purchased a new fully paid legitimate system from our local dealer back home in Philippines, where it was set up and worked perfectly. We brought the new decoder box and card back to China last weekend.
We plugged it in.....nothing! No channels. Setup says 90% signal strength, 0% signal quality!
Do I just follow the proceedure explained above regarding the LNB or is it more serious than this?

hi parkerdixon, you can try your old box, pls connect your old box with your dish, check it whether you can watch free tv channels(like living asia, DW, TV maria), if it is ok, you will only setup your LNB parameter, all dream tv channels will come back, if it isn't ok, maybe your dish or LNB meet some problem.

Thanks. The LNB was about 1 week old and working perfectly when the 'old' box setup stopped working after the system upgrade on 1st August so I can't imagine there is anything wrong with it.
I'll try the LNB selection process this evening and hopefully I won't need to bother you again (he says fingers crossed).6 i7 I- v% e$ }0 x8 B' C. s
Can't remember if I had any free channels (is TV Maria the religious channel??).

I changed the LNB setting and the system instantly burst into life. 30 seconds later I was watching satellite TV.

i just bought a homecast receiver and activate it already in the philippine and brought it in china! i did not change the posistion of my old sat dish but when i attach the cable to my new receiver i got this LOST SATELITTE SIGNAL ! what should i do ? the receiver is working and was already activate in the p[hilippines dream office in the phil told me just put the cable and its ok but now seem have problem any help ! regards in advance

It's longitude is different between philippine and China, But Dream satellite TV package lies 146.0°E Agila 2, You need to adjust your dish position, even if you are in china and move to different cities, you also need to adjust your dish position for a better signal. / M, q0 A. A1 u3 I/ ?' ^$ F( C# q
- t. z3 N% I3 Z
If you can't check dream signal yet, Maybe your LNB doesn't work, need to change a new LNB.

I've added a pipe for the dish cos some tree banches were blocking the path.
But after that my signal flactuates from 97% then 0% then 97% cant seem to scan any channel.
what seems to be my problem?
